Connect with your body, your breath, and your inner energy, supported by the healing power of essential oils.
Yin Yoga is a passive and meditative style of yoga in which postures (asanas) are held for extended periods — typically between 1 and 5 minutes, sometimes longer, depending on the posture and the individual’s physical condition.
Rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Taoist philosophy, Yin Yoga integrates classical yoga teachings with the theory of energetic meridians. This practice works deeply on the connective tissues (fascia), joints, and energetic system, encouraging calm, balance, and self-awareness.
The characteristics of a Yin Yoga class are physical and mental stillness, a meditative attitude of mindfulness, and conscious breathing.
✨ Benefits of Yin Yoga
Improves the health of fascia and connective tissues
Enhances joint flexibility and mobility
Calms the mind and promotes mindfulness
Encourages introspection and self-knowledge
Complements active or dynamic physical practices
This practice is suitable for all levels and almost all physical conditions, as the postures are done on the floor and can be adapted to individual needs.
🌿 Aromatherapy in the Workshops
In our sessions, we incorporate 100% pure and natural essential oils as a therapeutic and sensory complement. Depending on the theme of the workshop or the current season, specific aromas are selected to:
Encourage deep relaxation
Support emotional release and openness
Ground and center the mind
Expand breath and awareness
Essential oils are used through diffusion in the space or, if you wish, with gentle application on energy points — always with consent and mindfulness. This synergy between Yin Yoga and Aromatherapy enhances your experience and invites a deeper inner connection.
🗓 Monthly Yin Yoga & Aromatherapy Workshop
We currently offer a monthly 2-hour workshop, usually on weekends. Each session is inspired by the current season, working with the associated meridians and the corresponding Taoist element (Water, Wood, Fire, Earth, or Metal).
The class includes:
Moments of silence and stillness
Guidance to transition between postures
Insightful information on the physical, mental, and emotional aspects being worked
Purposefully chosen essential oils for each session
Time for personal reflection and inner listening
We close the session with a deep guided relaxation and/or the healing sound of Tibetan singing bowls.
